Thanks as always Wil. I posted this because I feel that there is a public misconception about the disease. There are a lot of people who still think that schizophrenics are made that way because of personal choices (did too much acid in the 60's for example) and their upbringing / environment. While these things may play a significant role, recent studies have shown that a person's physiology is a major factor in the disease process as well. One can only hope that these studies lead to better treatments.

Interesting, if I am interpeting the article correct, Schizophrenia appears to be a resullt of early growing failures - then there might be a chance to start looking for it before it develops into a major issue and solve it befor it happens - of course too late for current sufferers, there we just have to ope that the can come up with some decent drugs - which of course will never work for everyone, and will always be a crapshoot. Lets hope for the best.
