Oh, neat! Health care pantries. Can I donate some of my healthcare to the pantry for others who don't have as much as me?

With all due respect for those who innocently desire to provide help to the hungry, the poor, and the medically needy, there is something seriously wrong in a country of this wealth not to afford its people what any government should provide, just as it does by providing public fire departments and police departments.

Is this the kind of charity that should make Americans feel better about themselves?

It is a sad day in what is called civilization, that any human being has to go without healthcare, food, shelter and other basics of human needs.

Has our nation turned into a scrooge, when it come to giving to those whom are less fortunate or helping our neighbors? America helps people all over the world, what about helping the American people for a change?
