"Our bodies may shrug off a relatively big one-time dose, yet suffer from a smaller amount delivered continuously over a half century, perhaps subtly stirring allergies or nerve damage. Pregnant women, the elderly and the very ill might be more sensitive."

We should question whether this may have some connection with other recent changes in public health, such as the skyrocketing frequency of allergies in our children, and the rapid increase in such conditions as autism.

      This could be really scary.

the drug industry has run the FDA for decades, and we will all suffer the consequences for more decades. even jail is trivial for these criminals, but fortunately, lady justice has a very long memory

So basically what they're saying is you're drinking pee. I can just see it now. The bottled water companies are going to capitalize on this and sell even *more* bottled water and Brita will come out with their "Just Say No" tap filter.

article said not all drugs are filtered through the home filter systems and more importantly, many bottled water companies are bottling tap water to begin with.

"To be sure, the concentrations of these pharmaceuticals are tiny, measured in quantities of parts per billion or trillion, far below the levels of a medical dose. Also, utilities insist their water is safe."

So ... why scare people with this story. Pure water will kill you, folks. It will leach the minerals out of your body.

This article ticks me off. Guess I'll go have a glass of mood stabilizers.

Plus who knows what else is in there.I know it isn't right, but the images of children drinking green water over the world keeps coming in my mind.
