I can definitely agree with this article. The personality of each place was clear -- Charleston and Orange County are like 2 different countries, each with advantages and disadvantages depending on YOUR personality.

I currently live in Tallahassee, Florida and I HATE it. As a Florida native, I was shocked to find Tallahassee was completely unlike the beautiful beach, shopping and entertainment mecca the rest of Florida is to the nation. It's old, ugly and rural. It's perfect for conservative Christians who are intolerant of any opinion other than the right-wing agenda. There is the college scene, but the clubs play ONLY hip-hop and Top 40 and 80's music and the police are so rampant you can't go to the grocery store without getting a breathlyzer. You can't go out to eat after 10 because everything is closed. Crime is rampant - the African-American community here is hates whites and are constantly robbing, raping and shooting us. There is no job market to speak of People with PHDs are working in bars.
People who live here love it somehow. I'm moving to New Orleans as soon as my lease is up. Now that's a vibrant. beautiful city where rich and poor mingle in peace and love. Goodbye!

Explain Boise, Idaho to me please, a land locked city that produced Jimmy Buffet, a sailor of some type, mind you all the hops in Idaho may explain Jimmy's love affair with booze and loose women.....lol
