Discovery of the decade? Injection 'could cure Alzheimer's…

Health & Fitness – An injection that dramatically relieved the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease within minutes would qualify as the discovery of the decade. That is exactly what was claimed yesterday for an experimental treatment being tested in America.

Reagan had Altzheimers ( got way worse after he was shot ).

Our current prez is on anti-depressants, ( I have it on authorized rumour ).

I'm sure Dr.Kervokian can take care of all that is ailing him. Bush should pay him a visit for a quick shot.

Reagan developed Alzheimer's after leaving office. You'd be more convincing if you could spell it. LOL

How did you find out? Somebody read it to you pimple head?

Your sister...last night. Btw, tell her I want my $5 back.

I don't have one stupid. Are you're parents siblings btw?

avatar
Reply

No, but I know both of my parents?

Like brother and sister huh? That's really you're parents. One of these days you're gonna find yourself, and you're gonna be sorely dissapointed. Come to think of it, you probably have an unlisted personality.

You have an incest fettish so typical of Democrats. Sorry if you were molested as a child.

Sorry you came out of you're mother's @$$ and she forgot to flush you down with the rest of the sh*t. Go screw yourself and "drop dead"

This is beyond the Pale and has to stop here. I'm not going to get in these constant running battles with Hannibal and you everytime I post an opinion and fill an entire folder with petty bickering. No one else should be subjected to this crap. Your stalking is over and so are any exchanges between us. I let the personal message slide but I won't tolerate this kind of post.

Don't you ever ask yourself as to WHY people dislike you so much? Or are you that dense? Listen, I am through with you, and as for that PM? It was well deserved in you're case. You can put it out here. I really don't care! Definitely NO WORRIES! You really ought to seek some therapy Dude. Seriously! Anyway I am through with you. Unless you ask for some more. You're NOT worth a second more of my time or trouble. You're history. Later! Now put in egg in you're shoe and beat it!

If you knew anything about Alzheimers, you would know it is progressive, beginning with small memory lapses, small delusions ( and Reagan was already old); long before the diagnosis is on the doctors desk.

It is the reason that by the end of his presidency he could no longer answer basic questions like 'who is the secretary of state' or 'what was that meeting about'.

I don't mock him for having it.

He didn't have it then. Unless you've conducted an exam on him, you can't say that. He sounded fine during his press conferences. Nice attempt at fabricating events.

Reagan could memorize speeches and deliver them, better than anyone; remember he was an actor for decades before politics.

Wickepedia:

"former president disclosed in 1994 that he was afflicted with the degenerative brain disease."

He was president from 1981 to 1988; like I said, it is a progressive degeneration that begins years before being diagnosed.

Yeah, and he had six years since he left office. I'm starting to understand Robert Byrd now.

My theory is that Robert Byrd has been dead for 15 years and they prop up a life-size photo of him and play the same tired speeches.

My dearly departed mother died of this dreaded disease 3 years ago....slowly and painfully. I sincerely hope that it is the silver bullet that is curable for the misfortunate others that are now suffering it's effects. Thanks capn.

Mine too BB. It was devastating. I hope this will turn out to be a real treatment.

Thanks TC, and I am, sorry to hear that from you too.

:o)

Well so much for compassion eh "CRAP7"? Tell me, did you're mother had any children?

I guess she forgot to flush you down the toilet when you came out of the other side of her right?

Oh I see you got you're twin here "dropdeadkickalib"

really good article capn. if this will have the effects it is supposed to be that is definitely one of the major discoveries of the last decades. i hope it will work out since i also experienced this disease in my own family.

I have had relatives to die from this disease, and I currently have friends who have it. I hope this is for real and possibly a cure for the disease, but I guess time will tell.

My father just passed from Alzheimer's as did his brother. It is a horrible disease and anything that can help lessen its dreadful march towards death is a blessing.

Heston's wife is probably saying with this news, "NOW you tell us!"
