I'm not the type of person who believes that everything in our lives should be natural, If we look at plastic it does have it's place but at times I wonder about it in regards to food items, foods can be contain acids and a things that naturally cause reactions with other materials, maybe not a good thing.

I Don't know if it is just me but I feel that soft drinks don't taste the same from an aluminum can or a plastic bottle as they did from a glass bottle.

I draw the line at beer. It's gotta be in glass.

I worked in the plastic industry for 27 years and there a lot more nasty stuff than just BPA.Of course I have no idea the toxicity of these chemicals after plastic is formed.

I know Hannibal:)But you gotta laugh. It was my choice and I pretty much knew.

But my sicko humor could still be hereditary. My uncle owns a meat business and his cards read "nobody beats my meat."LOLOLOL

I'm just surprised the FDA or Consumer Product Safety Commission hasn't considered testing materials used to package (and cook) foods. On second thought, maybe I'm not surprised. But it's something consumers should request their elected representatives to look into.

As consumers, people should also use their purchasing power voice and stop buying items that contain BPA, et cetera.

Unfortunately, there is no requirement to list ingredients for containers like baby bottles.
