I love figs and it's good to know they are so good for me. I have a hard time getting them where I live and they are really expensive. Oh yes, the only figs we get here are dried but the fresh figs are like...ambrosia. Thanks for the story, Senor.

Figs and fig leaves... quite different.

You can pick figs from a fig tree, and the fig jut makes more in it's place.

Fig leaves, however, are meant to stay on the tree until they die, and taking off the leaves hurts the tree.

Ever wonder how those figs get fertilized? Ain't bees.
