Kapusta z Kluski - Polish recipe

Braise the cabbage (kapusta) with onion, dill and bacon or bacon fat until tender. Toss with wide egg noodles (kluski.) Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Top with sour cream (shmetanka) if you are not dieting.

Good news. Ladies, if you have breasts the size of cabbages, you can cut the risks that larger breasts bring by eating more cabbage.

Raw cabbage juice is well documented as being remarkably effective in treating peptic ulcers.

fried cabbage and noodles!!! ooh that reminds me, my Mom made some for me the other day I have to go pick up!!

Guess the recipe not very healthy but it's so yummy!

Use a large head of cabbage, slice it and fry in a frying pan using bacon grease until soft, and salt it as you turn it several times this takes quit awhile, some of it browns which is good. Then in the pot you boil about 1lb of noodles you've drained, add the fried cabbage. Some people add onions to it, some sprinkle sugar on it (yuck)some sour cream. There are lots of variations as it's a Hungarian, Austrian, and German dish.

I just like lots of fried cabbage fried in the bacon grease, lots of salt and noodles. without onions, garlic or sour cream, and I can't imagine putting sugar on it.

I like cabbage and have about ten in the garden in different stages of growth. I like to chop the cabbage and then add small amount of red-wine vinegar dressing. Cabbage is good cooked/steamed with carrots, potatoes and onions.

Thanks Senor.
