It's too funny, I just read about sunshine to boost our health and here we are people using too much sunscreen and damaging the environment.

Yes, a whole lot of stuff we use is not natural and is not tested over several years when dumped into the environment, lakes, oceans, earth--yet we still dump our chemical laden products everywhere on earth.
We need to start testing products on the environment--lakes, oceans and earth and how it impacts the flora, fauna and animals.
All natural products that are easily degradable are usu. best, but not always.

Hmmm.. If Sunscreen blocks out so much "bad stuf..." just how much "Good stuff..." is it keep from us too? Has anyone given that any thought? I don't use sunscreen..too many chemicals.. Wise use of your time in the sun seems a better choice to me...

I've lived long enough not to fall for every new "research" that comes down the road. I think wearing sunscreen helps protect from getting skin cancers so I wouldn't toss it out if I planned to spend time in the sun.
