The information about exercising the large muscle groups first is solid, but it should be pointed out that doing cardio AFTER weight training is more than just a personal preference.

Your body can only burn stored sugar - NOT bodyfat - while doing weight training. When doing cardio, your body can burn sugar as well as fat. In other words, if you do cardio first, you'll be losing a prime opportunity to shed excess bodyfat. Since that is a goal of most people who exercise, it is definitely something that should be pointed out in an article of this nature.

beachjunkie07 has just shared some primo knowledge and what he said should be researched and acted upon. Also, for me personally, I find I can do more if I start with weights and end the session with cardio, versus the other way around.

        Good stuff
